How the Process Review Credit Works

The full $750 is credited toward any build of $2,500 or more. For a build under $2,500, the review fee isn't credited.

Either way, you keep the written plan. It includes a map of how the work happens today, a list of what to automate and what to leave alone, estimated time or money saved, and a proposal with a fixed price.

Payment Terms for Builds

Fixed project priceWhen you pay
Under $10,00050% to start, 50% at handoff
$10,000 and up40% to start, 40% when the first working version is ready, 20% at handoff

The fixed project price sets which schedule applies, before the process review credit comes off.

Support After Handoff

Support and changes are $150 an hour, billed monthly in 15-minute increments. There's nothing to prepay, and invoices are due within 15 days.

Running Costs

Most tools need some mix of hosting, software, and API usage. API usage is what a tool pays each time it connects to another service. Your tools run on your own accounts wherever possible, so you pay those costs directly. Anything we pay for you is billed at cost. Your proposal lists the estimate, so you'll see the expected monthly cost before you sign.

What You Get in Writing

  • A fixed price, timeline, deliverables, and exclusions
  • Ownership of the finished build once the final payment is made
  • Individual logins or limited access instead of shared passwords
  • Written approval before any change to the scope, price, or timeline

How to Estimate the Value of Automation

Start with the hours and the cost of those hours. Here's an example, and your numbers will differ.

A task that takes 10 hours a week costs about $26,000 a year at $50 an hour. If a build takes half of that work off your team, it frees up about $13,000 a year of their time. A $6,000 build would cover its cost in about 6 months, before running costs.

The point is to give your team more time for the work that grows your business. If your sole goal is to cut staff, we're the wrong partner.

Pricing Questions

Why do you publish your prices?

You should know the likely cost before you talk to anyone. It saves both of us time.

Why isn't the process review free?

The review is where we find what's worth building. You get a written plan and a fixed-price proposal to keep, and the full $750 comes off any build of $2,500 or more.

Can I hire you by the hour for a new build?

New builds get a fixed price. The $150 hourly rate applies to support and changes after handoff.
